VPN and Pi-hole: Use a Custom DNS Server

Mental note, if you're using a VPN such as Mullvad and a local install of pihole and you're not getting ads blocked.  Make sure you're using a customer DNS server pointing to your pihole instance in the Mullvad client, it works wonders.

Go to settings, VPN Settings

And make sure you're using a customer DNS server
